Entries
More entries land with the rest of the library. We are not publishing a dictionary of 60 thin pages in one drop. Each one has to say something a moderator would recognize as true.
Karma is the number AutoMod reads. A shadowban is the quiet failure mode. AutoMod is the local robot, different in every sub. If you only learn those three, you can already explain most of the 'my comment vanished' stories. The rest of the dictionary is for the citation and marketing words that get mixed up on purpose. Open the three entries below before you skim anything else. That is enough for a first week.
Read these three first
Karma is the number in the rule. A shadowban is the failure with no message, visible only when you are logged out. AutoMod is the local robot, different in every sub, that removes a comment before a person sees it. If a comment vanished, it is one of those three. Guessing it was 'the algorithm' wastes the afternoon you should spend on the logged-out check.
