Three checks
- Log out, or use a private window. Open the profile URL. If Reddit says the page is missing and you are sure of the name, the account is not public.
- Post a comment on a busy sub. Logged out, open that comment's URL. If it is gone and your inbox has no removal notice, treat it as a shadowban.
- Search the username on Reddit while logged out. A healthy account appears. A shadowbanned one does not.
r/ShadowBan exists for a second opinion from other logged-in users. Do not post your product there. Ask only about the account.
What not to do next
Do not make five new accounts from the same browser profile and repeat the post. That pattern is how a shadowban becomes a wider block. Stop. Read the removal if there was one. The longer guide covers appeals and the warm-up you owe the next account.
Karmy stops a karmito when the signs show up, instead of posting into the void for a week. The check above is still the one you can run yourself in two minutes.
