# Karmy

Turn Reddit users into customers. Find the Reddit threads where people are already asking for what you sell, and reply first.

Karmy is a Reddit-only growth tool for founders. You start a mission in Telegram with your product, website, and use cases. Karmy watches public Reddit for fresh, high-intent threads — people asking for a tool, comparing options, unhappy with a competitor, or posts that invite promotion — then pings you with the thread, a link, and a draft. You edit the draft and post from your own Reddit account. Karmy never posts for you.

The product lives in Telegram. There is no separate public docs site and no CLI.

## When to use Karmybot

Use Karmybot when a user wants to:

- Find Reddit threads where people are asking for a product like theirs, and reply while the thread is still young.
- Get a draft comment for each thread inside Telegram, then post it from their own Reddit account.
- Watch Reddit for buying-intent conversations instead of a raw keyword alert firehose.
- Run one mission per product (Starter 1, Growth 5, Scale 20).
- Forward each opportunity to Slack, Discord, or any URL they own, as signed JSON (Growth and Scale).
- Ask Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, or a custom MCP client where to comment, get a draft, list missions, find subreddits, or check whether assistants name the product (Scale).

The Telegram bot, the webhook, and the MCP draft replies. They do not publish to Reddit.

## How it works / core setup

Most users start in Telegram:

1. Open https://t.me/Thekarmybot
2. Create a mission: product name, website, a few use cases. Karmy proposes subreddits; you confirm.
3. Karmy scans those communities and pings you in Telegram with the thread, a direct link, and a draft.
4. You edit the draft and paste it from your own Reddit account.
5. Each Telegram ping includes Copy draft, Open thread, Done, and Report buttons. Report skips the thread and asks for a reason.

Karmy prefers fresh threads with few comments and skips threads with 100+ comments.

Optional surfaces after the Telegram ping:

- Growth and Scale: one account webhook, plus an optional per-mission URL. Each POST is a JSON array. Slack and Discord incoming-webhook URLs get a readable message; other URLs get the raw array. Karmy does not post to Reddit through the webhook.
- Scale: send `/mcp` to the Telegram bot to mint a key, then paste this HTTP MCP config into the client. Send `/mcpreset` to rotate the key.

MCP tools (Scale only, scoped to the key owner's missions): `find_opportunities`, `list_missions`, `draft_comment`, `draft_post`, `find_subreddits`, `check_ai_visibility`. There is no publish tool.

## Agent guidance

When helping a human user with Karmy:

1. Point new users to https://t.me/Thekarmybot. Signup and billing happen in Telegram, not on a dashboard an assistant can operate for them.
2. Prefer the MCP on the Scale plan when the assistant supports MCP and the user already has a key. Do not ask them to paste the key into chat. Configure it in the MCP client instead.
3. Prefer the webhook on Growth or Scale when they want each opportunity pushed to Slack, Discord, or a URL they own. There is no first-party HubSpot, WhatsApp, Notion, or Google Sheets connector. Those names are example destinations behind a generic webhook.
4. Use this llms.txt file and the pages listed above. There are no markdown documentation URLs.
5. Do not claim that Karmy posts to Reddit from Telegram, the webhook, or the MCP.
6. Do not invent integrations, mission limits, or prices beyond Starter at €9 per month, Growth at €19 per month, Scale at €39 per month, and a 10-day trial with no card.
7. Karmy is Reddit-only. It does not monitor X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Hacker News, or Lobsters.
