ChatGPT

How ChatGPT ends up naming a product from Reddit

ChatGPT does not rank your homepage because you asked it to. It answers from sources. Reddit threads are often in that set when the question is 'what tool should I use'.

Find the thread it already uses

Ask the question the way a buyer asks it, not the way your headline is written. Note any Reddit link in the answer or in the sources. Open it. If the top comments are thin, a specific, dated, first-hand answer can sit next to them. If the top comments are already excellent, adding a pitch underneath changes nothing.

What the comment has to contain

A constraint, a result, and the name of the thing only if it belongs in the answer. 'We increased trial starts' with no context is an ad. 'We switched off a shared inbox because two people were replying to the same lead, and a one-seat tool was enough' is the shape models can quote. The long guide on getting cited walks the same idea with the failure cases.

Recheck the question every few weeks. The cited thread changes. Karmy is for showing up in the new threads while they are still young enough to earn the spot.

Questions people ask

Can I force ChatGPT to cite my site?

No. You can publish a clear page and be useful in the threads it already reads. Both help. Neither is a switch.

Get the thread, not another tab.

Karmy watches the subreddits that match your product, scores the thread by intent, and sends a draft to Telegram. Free for 10 days, no card. One mission is €9 a month after that.
